Cookie Policy

WITH REFERENCE TO THE ITALIAN LEGISLATIVE DECREE. 101/2018 ("PRIVACY CODE") AND REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR"), WE INFORM YOU THAT OUR WEBSITE USES COOKIES.

We use cookies to make our site easier and more intuitive.We use the data collected thanks to cookies to make the browsing experience more pleasant and more efficient in the future.

What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files sent from the site to the interested party's terminal (usually to the browser), where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the site at the next visit by the same user. A cookie cannot retrieve any other data from the user's hard disk or transmit computer viruses or acquire email addresses. Each cookie is unique to the user's web browser. Some of the functions of cookies may be delegated to other technologies. In this document, the term 'cookie' refers to both cookies, strictly speaking, and all similar technologies.
If you want to disable the use of cookies you must customize the settings on your computer by setting the deletion of all cookies or activating a warning message when cookies are stored. To proceed without changing the application of cookies, simply continue browsing.
Visit AboutCookies.org for more information about cookies and how they affect your browsing experience.

Type of cookie

Cookies can be first or third party, where "first party" means cookies that indicate the site as the domain, while "third party" means cookies that are related to external domains.

Third-party cookies are necessarily installed by an external party, always defined as "third party", not managed by the site. These subjects may also install first-party cookies, saving their cookies on the site domain.

There are different types of cookies:

Technical cookies

Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of "carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide this service".

They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or manager of the website. They can be divided into:
• navigation or session cookies, which guarantee normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access restricted areas); they are in fact necessary for the correct functioning of the site;
• analytics cookies, assimilated to technical cookies when used directly by the site manager to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site itself, in order to improve the site's performance;;
• functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (for example, the language, the products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided.  These cookies can also be used to remember changes you make to text size, fonts and other parts of web pages that you can customise. They can also be used to provide services you have asked for such as watching a video or commenting on a blog. The information collected by these types of cookies may be made anonymous and cannot track your browsing activity on other websites.The installation of these cookies does not require the prior consent of users.

Third party cookies

Third-party cookies are cookies set by a website other than the one you are currently visiting. For example, the site may contain a Facebook "Like" button. That button will set a cookie that can be read by Facebook. This is considered to be a third-party cookie.
Some advertisers use these types of cookies to track the user's visits across all the sites on which they offer their services. If a user believes that this tracking may be a source of concern and interference in their privacy, it is possible to disable third-party cookies in Firefox and other browsers.
Note:
Deactivating third-party cookies can prevent tracking by advertisers in some cases, for more information please see: AboutCookies.org

The list of third parties is subject to updates.
Websites may use third-party cookies for purposes that are not necessarily related to privacy and their deactivation may interfere with the correct functioning of those sites.

In the case of third-party cookies, the site does not have direct control of individual cookies and cannot control them (it can neither install them directly nor delete them). The user can however manage these cookies through the browser settings.

Duration of cookies

Cookies have a duration dictated by the expiration date (or by a specific action such as closing the browser) set at the time of installation.
Cookies can be:
• temporary or session cookies (session cookies): they are used to store temporary information, allow you to connect the actions performed during a specific session and are removed from the computer when the browser is closed;
• permanent (persistent cookies): they are used to store information, for example the login name and password, so as to avoid the user having to retype them every time they visit a specific site. These remain stored on your computer even after you close your browser.

Duration, expiry and purpose of cookies may vary depending on what is set by the site or by each third-party supplier.

As regards the classification of cookies, we remind you that there is not yet a universally accepted system to distinguish them objectively and that, therefore, we must rely on the indications contained in the privacy policy of the domain from which they are downloaded.

Furthermore, we remind you that checks on the cookies downloaded to the user's device can give different results depending on the browser used.

We report some online databases that can help the user identify the type of cookie:
